What is the DepEd K-12 curriculum? 

The K-12 curriculum refers to the educational program that covers Kindergarten and 12 years of basic education (6 years of elementary, 4 years of junior high school, and 2 years of senior high school).​

What is the DepEd policy on student uniforms?​

As per DepEd Order No. 65, s. 2010, wearing school uniforms is not required for public school students. However, schools may still recommend wearing uniforms since the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Mandaluyong provides these. ​

How does DepEd handle bullying and school safety concerns?​

DepEd implements the Child Protection Policy (DepEd Order No. 40, s. 2012), which mandates schools to prevent and address cases of bullying and abuse. Schools have a Child Protection Committee to handle complaints.​

How are school closures or suspensions of classes determined?​

The Local Government Unit (LGU) declares class suspensions during typhoons and emergencies. DepEd also releases guidelines on class suspensions during severe weather conditions.​

How do parents participate in school programs and activities?​

Parents are encouraged to be part of the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) and participate in Brigada Eskwela, a program where community members work together to prepare schools for the start of the school year.​
